Short Bio
Prof. Peggy McCormack earned all of her degrees in Houston, at Rice University and the University of St. Thomas, a liberal arts university like Loyola--where she enjoyed getting a B.A. so much that, as soon as she finished her Ph.D. at Rice, she returned to St. Thomas to teach; in 1981, Dr. McCormack came to Loyola. Her publications include a book on Henry James, examining gender and economic exchange theory and an edited collection of essays on James which focuses on gender studies. She teaches courses on American film and literature and British fiction.
